Oscar 2013 Most Talked About Red Carpet Looks

The largest fashion catwalk in the world happens once a year in LA on the Oscars red carpet, here is Mr. PandaSundae’s take on the top stories:

Jennifer Aniston Tops Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence in abc’s Best Dressed Poll
Best actress Jennifer Lawrence of Silver Linings Playbook looked stunning in a Christian Dior couture number that had beautiful volume and texture, however, red carpet veteran Jennifer Aniston topped abc’s Best-Dressed Twitter with 35% of votes. She wore a cascading red Valentino gown and later presented the best costume design award alongside Channing Tatum. Cast your best dressed vote at http://oscar.go.com/best-dressed

Anne Hathayway’s Prada Dress Attracted more than 3,600 Twitter #HathawayNipple Followers
The best supporting actress of Les Misérables wore a pale pink Prada column that looked deceptively conservative from the front yet surprised with a low-back construction at the back. It deftly demonstrated how the peekaboo effect can carry more “kick” than the bare-all look. Unfortunately, the dress' cone-shaped bosom constructions inspired a #HathawayNipple Twitter account that has gathered some serious steam.

The On the Road actress and Oscar presenter who walked down the red carpet with crutches later hobbled to the Oscar presentation podium without them. She had declined to explain the reason behind her need for crutches to MTV, but according to abc had “stepped on glass”.

Helen Hunt Wears H&M to the Oscars

What does Helen Hunt’s H&M dress remind Mr. PandaSundae of? Sharon Stone’s Gap shirt, which she famously paired with a lilac Vera Wang skirt at the 1998 Oscars. Both ensembles show how a wearer’s confidence and ability to mix-and-match infuses the sense of style to a look.

All four Jennifer's: Hudson, Lawrence, Garner and Aniston, looked beautiful in their respective gowns which were a good sampling of colors, fabrications and silhouettes. We were taking notes on how these stars picked their gowns to put their unique body shapes and personalities in the best light.
